Charlie Condou enjoyed “the best day” out with his family on Saturday (15.05.21).
The former 'Coronation Street' actor - who is married to Cameron Laux and has children Georgia, 11, and eight-year-old Hal – took his brood to Chessington World of Adventures, where they were among the first to try Croc Drop, the resort's first new ride since 2013.
He said: “I'm a huge fan of rides and Croc Drop was brilliant. Really fun.”
Charlie also shared footage of his day out on his Instagram Story, telling his followers he had had the “best day” alongside a photo of himself and his son and daughter grinning broadly as they enjoyed another of the rides.
‘Crackerjack’ star Mark Rhodes also loved taking the 25m plunge on Croc Drop.
He said: “Croc Drop was so, so good, we all loved it. The kids couldn’t get enough".
And presenter Sonali Shah enjoyed the ride so much, she was planning multiple goes.
She said: “It was amazing, my stomach just about held up! I think I might be riding Croc Drop several times this afternoon…”
While Kate Thornton enjoyed a family day out at Chessington for her son’s birthday, she couldn’t bring herself to join in with the thrills and spills of the rides.
She documented her day on her Instagram Story and exclaimed: “We’re at Chessington World of Adventures for this - Croc Drop. Otherwise known as here's your breakfast again. I might just hold the bags.”
She later shared footage of her loved ones enjoying the new swinging pirate ship, Blue Barnacle and said: “Good luck! Guess where I am? Not on there! Oh my God.”
Jamie Theakston was another star who didn’t feel up to plunge the 25m Croc Drop.
He joked on Instagram: “I was on camera duty.”
Meanwhile, after touring the resort’s zoo - which has been welcoming visitors for 90 years this summer - with her family, ‘Good Morning Britain’ presenter Ranvir Singh was thrilled to meet Blue singer Antony Costa, who was also enjoying the resort with his family.
After the ‘All Rise’ hitmaker posted a photo on Instagram of them together, Ranvir shared it on her own story and wrote: “Do I look happy? Bloody loved Blue…”
