Charley Webb had to go to hospital for a scan after experiencing breast pain, but she ignored going to the doctor "for ages".
The 'Emmerdale' actress has now urged others to go and get any medical concerns checked out by a professional after she turned a blind eye to her pain due to the coronavirus pandemic, but her doctor referred her to hospital for a scan and "touch wood, everything is OK".
Speaking on her Instagram Story, she said: "I went to the doctor's last week because I've been having this pain in my boob, which I know is really personal, but I wanted to talk about it because I put it off for ages.
"She referred me to hospital to go and get a scan. Touch wood, everything is OK.
"I went to the hospital yesterday."
The 32-year-old actress - who plays Debbie Dingle on the ITV soap - insisted anyone suffering from pain should "go and get it checked" because there are other issues going on, other than the pandemic.
She added: "I put it off and put it off because I was so worried about going into them with anything at the moment, with everything that's going on.
"I just think, I hope no one is feeling like that.
"If there's something that you're worried about then you should go and get it checked because there are other issues going on in the world, not just the pandemic.
"There is other stuff and that's OK.
"I'm really glad that I did it. The hospital is dead. She said they're only seeing people if they really need to. And cause I had to be examined she had to see me.
"The hospital was really quiet, and it was done properly. Everything was safe."
