Charley Webb has paid a sweet birthday tribute to her 'Emmerdale' co-star Emma Atkins.
The 46-year-old actress - who plays Charity Dingle in the ITV soap - turned 46 earlier this week, and Charley has taken to Instagram to pay tribute to her on-screen mum.
She wrote on the photo-sharing platform: "Can’t wait to be able to get dressed up and dance all night. Love you more than basically everything [heart emoji] (have to be nice on her birthday @missemmaatkins) (sic)"
The duo haven't had much opportunity to spend time together over recent months due to the on-set coronavirus restrictions.
Charley, 33 - who plays Debbie Dingle in the soap - previously revealed how lockdown had also changed her life at home.
Speaking about her life off set, the actress - who is married to fellow soap star Matthew Wolfenden - shared: "We’ve been together 15 years and we’re a team and a partnership. If Matthew bought me something, I’d be like, 'What have you done?' We’re not the most romantic couple."
Charley thinks that their approach to marriage has been one of the keys to their longevity.
She explained: "In a lot of ways, I think that’s why it works, because we don’t put any pressure on our relationship."
Despite this, she acknowledged that there have been some arguments amid the lockdown.
Charley admitted that being stuck at home with her family for so long had been a challenging experience.
She said: "It is hard and we have argued. You’re bound to argue when you’re stuck in a house 24/7 with three kids and they are playing up.
"We’ve had our little moments but I’ve not spoken to one person who hasn’t."
