Charley Webb has reassured her fans after asking for allergy advice for her son Ace.
The 'Emmerdale' star called out to her social media followers for help because she's worried about her eight-month-old boy, who has been "constantly congested and sniffly".
She posted on her Instagram Story: "Anyone had their baby tested for allergies? Ace is constantly congested and sniffly. I'm almost positive it's an allergy.
"It's like his cold will go and then suddenly the next day it's back again. I just feel like it can't be a cold every two minutes.
"And also, he gets purple lines under his eyes which I've googled and it looks like it's called Allergic Shiners.
"I need to get him tested but where, can't seem to find anything on google for under 2 year olds? (sic)
The 32-year-old actress - who is open about her parenting on social media, and also has Buster, nine, and Bowie, four, with husband Matthew Wolfenden - later revealed her boy is on a "mainly plant-based diet" and the only dairy he has is milk, and explained she had figure out her own plan of action.
She added: "This afternoon I've decided I'm going to start Ace on goat's milk.
"Even though it's sort of dairy still, it's a lot easier apparently for them to break down. So that is my first stop...
"The night times couldn't be any worse, he just screams all through the night, so I don't know if it's going to upset his tummy a little bit, I don't know."
When some followers voiced their concern about her not visiting her GP for advice, she explained she's done her research.
She explained: "For everyone worrying about making my own decision without speaking to my GP, we went through something very similar with Bowie when he was tiny and were in and out of hospital.
"I've done my own research and I'm happy that's it's not going to harm Ace... I obviously wouldn't be doing it otherwise."
