Charley Webb was on the receiving end of "abuse" for reminding shoppers of social distancing rules.
The 'Emmerdale' actress - who first played Debbie Dingle on the ITV soap back in 2002 - called out two people who came too close at the supermarket, but they didn't take too kindly to her comments.
She tweeted: "I went to our local supermarket... No one had masks or gloves on, including the people that were working.
"I had to ask 2 people to stop coming closer than 2metres and got abuse. A lot of people aren't taking this seriously whatsoever. (sic)"
The 32-year-old star has still kept a sense of humour though, as she joked she needs to "social distance" from snacks.
She quipped: "I need to social distance from my bridge and snack cupboard."
Charley also enjoyed a catch up with Dales co-star Lucy Pargeter (Chas Dingle), who couldn't resist a laugh at one aspect of the ongoing situation.
She wrote: "On the phone to @lucyparge
"Lucy: Where are you, are you out? Me: As if, I'm in the utility room. Lucy: That's an outing nowadays.
"True dat. X (sic)"
The soap star has turned to her sister Cassie Lomas - who is a makeup artist - for makeover tips during self-isolation.
She told her social media followers: "Daytime smoky eye. Really simple look that you can easily do yourself.
"Won't be needing it for a while but we can all get some practice in. Mine and @misscassielomas's tutorial is on my story and I'll add it to my highlights."
