'Emmerdale' star Charley Webb finds "emotional" scenes draining.
The 25-year-old star - who first appeared as Debbie Dingle in 2002 - has to combine her career with three-year-old son Buster and admitted it can be tough.
She told The Sun newspaper's TV Magazine: "I'm doing a lot of crying at the moment. I'm going from one emotional scene to the next and it's tiring.
"At the moment I'm falling asleep when I'm putting my son Buster to bed at 7.30pm. Mind you, I'm so tired I could sleep on a washing line!"
Regardless, Charley is glad her character is experiencing ups and downs on screen and revealed while she has debated quitting the show, the development of her character has meant she loves the show more than ever.
She added: "I enjoy it more now than when i joined. I feel lucky that I'm being so challenge right now.
"There are times when I think maybe it's time to leave, but then I get a storyline to really sink my teeth into and love my job again.
"I'm sure there will come a day when I don't feel as content though and I'll try other things."
