Channel 5 is launching a show to rival ITV2's 'Love Island'.
The new series thought to be called 'We're On A Break' will feature a group of lovers who are flown to a party hot spot in Mexico in an attempt to see if their relationship will survive as it's put to the test when they're given the opportunity to flirt with others.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "These couples are in that situation where you just don't know how you feel about the relationship until you've broken up, tested the water with a new date or seen your ex with someone else.
"What everyone in the show would agree on is they want a better relationship than what they've been having.
"Some might sink, some might swim. It's being tipped as 'love Island' in reverse - they're not singles looking for love - these people are in established relationships potentially looking to become single again.
"Who comes home with who on the flight back to Blighty is anyone's guess."
'Love Island' has been running for two series and launched the careers of now ex-couple Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde, who won the last instalment.
Known for heated sex scenes, the contestants on 'Love Island' try and convince the public they have found love in a bid to win £50,000.
The rival show 'We're On A Break' was announced just weeks before the new series of the ITV2 hit show, hosted by Caroline Flack, is set to air.
'We're On A Break' will air over the summer after the watershed.
