'Celebs on the Farm' is set to make a comeback on MTV.
The reality show - which aired on 5Star in 2018 and 2019 after originally being broadcast as 'The Farm' in 2004 and 2005 - is said to be in line for a return with comedian Stephen Bailey back as the host.
As reported by The Sun newspaper's Bizarre TV column, bosses are lining up the likes of former 'EastEnders' star Shaun Williamson, royal commentator Lady Colin Campbell, 'Love Island' beauty Montana Brown and 'Hollyoaks' actor Malique Thompson Dwyer.
They look set to be joined by Blue singer Duncan James, 'Geordie Shore' star Holly Hagan, 'Loose Women' panellist Linda Robson and drag queen Cheryl Hole.
A source said: "The original reboot was a big success but bosses are keen for more.
"They want to move away from the old shows of the past and they think it’s a fun show where punters can watch celebs doing a day job they’re normally a million miles away from.”
The new series will be filmed in the Yorkshire Dales, and it's scheduled to air next year with the eight celebrities learning the ropes as they stay on a farm and compete to be named the winner.
Gemma Hewlett - VP of digital channels at ViacomCBS Networks UK (VCN UK) - said: “With Stephen at the helm, the series will continue to maintain all of the warmth and humour that current fans adore, while bringing in a range of familiar faces that will appeal to a MTV audience.”
Retired footballer and manager Paul Merson triumphed last year, with the likes of Artem Chigvintsev, James 'Arg' Argent and Tina Malone taking part.
In 2018, former 'Strictly Come Dancing' pro Gleb Savchenko emerged victorious after taking part with Bobby Cole Norris, Louie Spence, Mega McKenna and more.
