Sharon Osbourne nominates Gary Goldsmith for eviction on 'Celebrity Big Brother'.
The 71-year-old former 'X Factor' judge was given the option of putting either 'Ibiza Weekender' star David Potts, presenter Zeze Millz or Gary - whose niece is Catherine, Princess of Wales - up for the public vote and at risk of being the first housemate to be kicked out of the reality show house.
On tonight's (06.03.24) episode of the ITV show, Sharon is in the Diary Room making her decision as the remaining housemates watch a live stream of her choice.
Big Brother says: "It’s now time to decide which one of these Housemates will face the public vote which could lead to their eviction from the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house.”
Big Brother adds: "Sharon, please give the name of the Housemate who will receive your nomination.”
Sharon reveals: "The Housemate that I nominate is Gary."
It remains to be seen how Gary will react to the news when Sharon returns to the house, and viewers will find out her reasons for nominating him.
Earlier in the episode, with her big decision looming, she spoke to each of the three housemates in the danger zone in her lair.
Speaking to Gary first, she says: "So, we’re going to have a nice little chat Gary. Tell me why did you accept the offer to come into the house?”
He responds: "It does bother me what the public perception of me is. The black sheep of the family. I’m a normal bloke. It just so happens that my niece married Will.”
Talking to David, she tells him: "When I first met you and I saw you with no trousers on, I was quite shocked. And then when we got talking, I realised it’s your thing. Not that I’m a prude because I’m not.”
Asked how he felt when he heard he was "in the ring of fire", he says: "I wasn’t shocked at all because I’ve had this quite a lot in my life.
"On first impressions, people are a bit like ‘woo, he’s just dying for attention’ when that is just not the case.”
When she speaks to Zeze, he claims he gets "a lot of backlash online because I say how I feel".
She asks him what he wants to get out of being on the show, and he adds: " think it’s more about people seeing a different side of me. People think I’m this hard-headed person."
Meanwhile, the house is transformed for a day at the race, with the housemates taking on roles as owners, jockeys and horses for an equestrian themed talks, with Sharon talking on the role as race steward as the others race around the course to win the "coveted gold cup".
Elsewhere in the episode, actress Marisha Wallace and Ekin-Su Culculoglu chat about relationships, and 'The Real Housewives of Cheshire' star Lauren Simon recalls meeting Simon Cowell and being given his card while dancing on a table.
Celebrity Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
