Catherine Tyldesley once got her own back on a cheating boyfriend by pouring nail varnish into his game consoles.
The 'Coronation Street' star may be happily loved up with Tom Pitford, with whom she has 17-month-old son Alfie, but she has admitted her love life hasn't always been that plane sailing and she once got revenge on an unfaithful lover.
She explained: "I have been cheated on. I've poured nail varnish into game consoles and thrown phones in canals."
And Catherine hopes her alter-ego Eva Price takes a similar approach when she learns her on-screen boyfriend Aidan Connor (Shayne Ward) has cheated on her with her friend.
Speaking to Women's Own magazine, she said: "I'm perfectly qualified to play a woman scorned! Eva does have the bunny boiler gene, definitely. But she has got a heart of gold deep down and all she wants is to be loved."
And the 32-year-old actress is convinced her busty character will go all out to get her revenge on her lover as he's not the first to cheat on her and probably won't be the last.
She said: "Every single boyfriend has cheated on Eva, so she sticks firmly to that girl rule where you don't go with another girl's guy. So it can't be long before the truth will out."
Meanwhile, the handsome factory manager is set to fall into the arms of Maria Connor (Samia Ghadie) this week after they bond over booze and their doomed relationships.
