Caroline Flack is delighted 'Love Island' has been nominated for two Virgin TV BAFTA gongs.

The reality TV show's host took to her social networking sites immediately after the nominations were announced this morning (04.04.18) to praise the team behind the dating series for being shortlisted for the Reality & Constructed Factual and Virgin's TV's Must-See Moment prizes.
She wrote on Twitter: "Well done @LoveIsland ... 2 @BAFTA Nominations !!!!! (sic)"
She then posted a similar message on her Instagram account to ensure everyone knew that the popular summer series had made it onto the nominations list at next month's glamorous ceremony.
She said: "OH MY GOD Love Island has been nominated for 2 BAFTAS (sic)"
Since the series came to an end last summer, the cast - including Kem Cetinay, Chris Hughes, Olivia Attwood and Amber Davies - have gone on to have highly successful television careers.
Kem was a finalist on this year's 'Dancing on Ice', Chris has released an autobiography called 'You Bantering Me?', Olivia had a show called 'Crackin' On' and Amber is doing some presenting.
While the sun-soaked series proved a huge success with viewers last year, the programme will have to fight off some stiff competition at the TV BAFTAs as it's up against the likes of 'Celebrity Haunted', 'Old People's Home for 4 Year Olds' and 'The Real Full Monty'.
'Love Island' also managed to wiggle onto Virgin's TV's Must-See Moment shortlist after award-winning grime artist Stormzy made a surprise appearance on the show last year.
However, the special moment will have to prove more popular than Blue Planet II's Mother Pilot Whale Grieves, Doctor Who's Thirteenth Doctor Reveal, Line of Duty's Huntley's Narrow Escape and Ariana Grande's performance of 'One Last Time' on 'One Love Manchester'.
The Virgin TV BAFTA will take place on May 13 at London's Royal Festival Hall, hosted by Sue Perkins.
