Carol Vorderman fears her buoyant bum will hamper her chances of winning stars during a trial on tonight's 'I'm A Celebrity... South Africa'.
The former 'Countdown' star believes her derriere is the "most buoyant thing in Britain", but it is not helpful when she takes on Tanks of Torment on Tuesday night's (02.05.23) episode.
She says: "My bottom always floats to the top … it’s the most buoyant thing in Britain.
"So getting down underwater is my biggest problem."
Carol is tasked with swimming through four sections of a tank, collecting stars as she goes, but she is joined by frogs, crocodiles and snakes among other critters.
The 62-year-old star was given the chance to pick a fellow campmate to take on the trial with her, and she wasted no time in choosing former Olympian Fatima Whitbread.
In the Bush Telegraph, Fatima says: "My name came out of Carol’s mouth within seconds!"
Fatima is tasked with raising the doors that separate the tanks to enable Carol to swim through the different sections.
At the trial clearing, Fatima says of their pairing: "Here we have the brains and the brawn.
"It’s going to be a good combination."
But Carol and Fatima are not the only pair taking part in a trial on Tuesday night's episode.
New arrivals and former 'EastEnders' stars Joe Swash and Dean Gaffney are immediately put to the test before they can join up with camp.
They take part in a trial titled Flipping Disgusting, in which they have to drink some gruesome concoctions in a bid to win some treats for the individual campmates.
Joe admits: "I’m really nervous. I feel like I’m doing this for the first time again, which ain’t good."
Dean says of returning: "I’m probably more scared now than I was then!"
'I'm A Celebrity... South Africa' airs weeknights at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX, and on Virgin Media One and Virgin Media Player in Ireland.
