Carol McGiffin left the panel of 'Loose Women' after 13 years because it became a "chore."
She has revealed that she no longer enjoyed doing the show, and stated she now plans to move out of the country with fiancé Mark Cassidy.
She said: "He knew how much I wasn't enjoying it. When you're not enjoying something any more, you can't give it 100 per cent so you shouldn't be doing it. It was more like a chore than a joy and it used to be a joy. When I made my decision, he was very supportive."
While she isn't going to be on screen any longer, Carol will still be tuning in to watch panellists Sherrie Hewson, Jane McDonald, Denise Welch, Lisa Maxwell, Janet Street-Porter, Sally Lindsay, Linda Robson and Shobna Gulati discuss the latest news and gossip, and she may even appear as a guest.
She said: "I'll still watch the show. I'm going to see them all for lunch as I didn't have a proper goodbye."
Carol still thinks the show hasn't given all its got and could see it having a slot on air well into the future.
She added to Bella magazine: "The show definitely hasn't had its day - I think it could probably go â¨on forever."
