Carol McGiffin was part of a fake eviction on 'Celebrity Big Brother'.
The 'Loose Women' panellist was picked over 'The Only Way Is Essex' star Mario Falcone to face the boot, along with Lauren Harries, after their housemates decided they did not contribute enough to the shopping task.
The trio had initially pretended they were 'prisoners' while living secretly in a luxury task room where they were able to watch housemates and set them gruelling tasks.
Carol was chosen in face-to-face nominations, in which contestants were provided with placards before explaining their decisions.
The 53-year-old star was later told to leave the house via the task room door, but in a shock twist she re-entered the prison to keep a watchful eye on her housemates after Mario and Lauren had returned to the main house.
Carol and Louie Spence are in contention to win the show but Geordie Shore's Charlotte Crosby remains a firm favourite to win the programme.
