Carol McGiffin is quitting 'Loose Women' after more than a decade on the panel.
The TV presenter - who is a housemate on the current series of 'Celebrity Big Brother' - has revealed she will not return for the chat show's 18th series because she was starting to get "to the point of boring" herself.
In her column for the Sunday People newspaper, she wrote: "When the show returns for its 18th series, I will no longer be on the panel.
"I'm sure some of you will rejoice but those who might not be so pleased deserve some sort of explanation. I'd been thinking about it for at least a year.
"It seems mad to quit one of the best jobs in the world - you talk for an hour with like-minded women and get paid. But I felt I'd completely plundered my private life and exhausted my repertoire of anecdotes to the point of boring myself."
Although Carol hasn't "enjoyed every single minute", she admitted she will keep watching and will miss being on the show.
She continued: "I can't say I've enjoyed every single minute but I've had so many laughs and made so many friends. The show has been such a big and important part of my life for so long.
"[I] will miss everyone a lot, especially the behind-the-scenes teams who over the year have all worked so hard.
"But mostly life will be weird without the daily banter with my mates, the other women, though I'm sure (and I hope) that we will stay in touch. Of course, I'll still be watching the show to see what they're up to."
