Cara Kilbey was rushed to hospital for an emergency operation after suffering an ectopic pregnancy.
The former 'The Only Way is Essex' star took to her Instagram Stories to reveal she had to be operated on as she was suffering from an internal bleed as a result of the ectopic pregnancy, which is when a fertilised egg implants itself outside of the womb.
She wrote: "I've been quiet on Instagram recently…
"Last month I found out I had an ectopic pregnancy that had ruptured and caused an internal bleed, so was rushed into theatre for an emergency op... (sic)"
The 33-year-old star shared a picture of her arm in her hospital bed, but revealed her latest stint in the medical facility was due to kidney stones.
She wrote: "Now I'm back again, but this time with kidney stones.
"Think I'm overdue a holiday"
Cara also asked her social media followers if they had any advice for a good "scar cream" after she went under the knife.
She added: "If anyone has any advice on scar cream. I would be really appreciated.
"I was lucky enough to have keyhole surgery and just the one Fallopian tube taken away..."
Cara gave birth to daughter Penelope in 2016, and son Hunter in December 2017.
She wrote at the time: "Welcome to the World... Hunter James Harris 28.12.2017 8lb9oz (sic)," followed by a blue heart emoji.
In March 2015, she tragically suffered a miscarriage, but fell pregnant with Penelope later that year.
She said at the time: "I was so nervous up until the 20 week scan. I've been trying to relax and enjoy my pregnancy but there's always been a niggle of worry.
"Now I've got past that point and everything is perfectly healthy, I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders and I can start getting excited."
