Flashpoint is going to be a huge part of the third season of The Flash, and with it will come an exciting new array of faces and storylines.

Mirror Master has already been confirmed for the show, with the villain being played by American Horror Story: Coven actor, Grey Damon.
Though no huge hints have been given about his storyline, show bosses have now confirmed that the villain will be coming face-to-face with Wentworth Miller's Leonard Snart, AKA Captain Cold.
Executive producers for the show, Todd and Aaron Helbing told E!: "We're excited to have Wentworth back because he always brings this amazing presence. It's the origin story of [Mirror Master], but it's this struggle between Mirror Master and Captain Cold and you get to see who comes out on top."
Described as "one of the greatest thieves Central City has ever known", Mirror Master is back after taking a three year hiatus, looking for revenge and to prove himself as one of the best villains to have ever lived.
The three year gap gives writers a little room to play with. Mirror Master may have gained his metahuman abilities following the Particle Accelerator events, or he could have come to them in a different way entirely.
The Flash season 3 premieres on The CW in the US on Tuesday, October 4. Arrow season 5 follows on Wednesday, October 5, Supergirl season 2 begins Monday October 10 and DC's Legends of Tomorrow will start on Thursday, October 13.
