Calum Best is to shoot a new documentary all about his late father.
Set to work on the programme when Celebrity Big Brother comes to an end, it'll focus on George Best and his struggles with alcoholism.
The star's called on Simon Egan to help make the film which will also be tracing the footballer's roots.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper a source explained: "Calum will present the film and is excited about the opportunity to tell his father's story.
"The fact a huge Oscar winner and his production company are backing the project means he is assured the subject matter will be respectfully handled.
"Some of George's old celeb pals are going to be interviewed, as well as figures from the sports world."
An "emotional" interview with Calum's mother Angie will also be included, whose relationship with George ended due to his fondness for other women and drink.
"Calum will also interview his mother Angie who left George because of his womanising and drinking -- so that will be emotional."
Tipped to be screened at a number of international film festivals, the movie's to be produced in a similar style to Senna - a movie that followed the life of racing driver Ayrton Senna da Silva.
"As Calum is a producer he could get a gong if all goes well."
