The blonde beauty reportedly enjoyed flings with a number of famous men in a bid to raise her own profile, including 'Celebrity Love Island' star Calum.
She is said to have had a dinner date with Chelsea player Thibaut Courtois and was stood up by his teammate Danny Drinkwater.
A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "Megan always wanted to be famous and believed her love life would be her key.
"She met a couple of PR agencies to find out how to get in the newspapers.
"She came up with the idea of dating celebs and getting snapped with them. She arranged a date with Danny but he cancelled.
"By then she had been texting Thibaut, whom she considered more of a catch.
"They enjoyed a romantic dinner in a London restaurant and it went really well. He even talked about whisking her away on a break.
"But then he said his ex was pregnant and Megan freaked out. She also had a couple of fun dates with Calum after pursuing him relentlessly and was also flirting heavily with James."
Meanwhile, last year's winner Amber Davies has blasted Megan for stirring up trouble in the villa.
Writing in her column for The Sun, she said: "The way Megan was kissing Eyal at the bottom of the stairs and then whispered 'Oh Alex is coming down the stairs soon', What has she got to hide?
"She went for Georgia really bad this week too and I think it was really out of order as I really like her.
"We haven't seen any argument or beef happen between them and it came out of the blue. Megan called her a "fake bitchh" and I was gobsmacked, I was like 'What the hell has she done?' She's a fresh little daisy.
"Instead of slagging her off, they're in the villa together so you need to be honest.
"If she has an issue with Georgia she should tell her. Be up front."
