Bruno Tonioli hopes to play a villain in a TV series.
The 'Strictly Come Dancing' judge - who is often cracking jokes on the BBC One ballroom show when giving his verdict on contestants' routines - admits he would love to portray a bad guy on the small screen because he is fed up of being so jolly all the time.
He said: "I think it is very juicy playing evil. I play nice all the time, so it would be nice playing the other side."
The 58-year-old choreographer admits he would take inspiration from Joan Collins' famous character Alexis Carrington, the protagonist in popular 1980s US soap 'Dynasty', for his own bad guy role.
He added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I'd love to do a sitcom. I'd love to act.
"I'd like to be somebody very, very, evil. I would like to be a male version of Alexis Carrington, played by Joan Collins in 'Dynasty', anything that is kind of different, still with humour though."
As well as 'Strictly', Bruno is no stranger to starring in TV shows after making appearances in several including 'Absolutely Fabulous' in 2003.
He has also starred in a number of movies including 'Ella Enchanted' - which starred Anne Hathaway as the titular character - and 2001 comedy movie 'The Parole Officer'.
