The 'Coronation Street' actress had to spend a lot of time training for the skating show with her professional partner Matej Silecky and though she was proud to come second, she's relieved to be back at home with her boyfriend Kean Bryan and back to her usual shooting schedule.

Speaking to the new issue of OK! magazine, she said: "I'm not relieved [it's over] but I am glad that I can go back to my normal life now. I spent a lot of time away from home feeling a bit stressed out sometimes so it's been nice to relax. The show made me realise I'm happiest when I'm at home with Kean and my family and friends."

The 25-year-old actress found it a "challenge" juggling her commitments to 'Corrie' - on which she plays Sophie Webster - and 'DOI' but was thankful her bosses on the soap were so supportive.

She said: "It was a challenge, put it that way. I felt like I had two full-time jobs. There were weeks where I had only three days to learn a routine and I'd be filming for 'Corrie' and worrying I should be practising.

"They were all so supportive of me though. I've grown up on the show so the cast and crew are like family to me. I think it was nice for them to see me doing so well."

The busy schedule hasn't put Brooke off taking part in other reality shows in the future.

She said: "I knew straight away that I wanted to do 'Dancing On Ice' because I was looking for a challenge and to learn a new skill, so it was a no-brainer. I'm not sure how I'd feel if I got offered any of the other shows. It would depend on the timing."
