The 'Coronation Street' actress revealed that she and partner Kean Bryan will be adding another son to their brood to go with Mexx, 14 months during an Instagram Q&A with fans.
Asked if she and Bryan were going to find out the sex of their baby, Brooke said: "We did. We are having another boy. We never found out with Mexx (and) this time we just said, 'Why not?'"
Brooke, who plays the role of Sophie Webster in the ITV soap, admits that it was "nice to know" that Mexx would be getting a brother.
The 28-year-old star added: "To be honest, I've enjoyed pregnancies with having found out and not. It's nice to know I'm having a boy and he will be so close in age to Mexx.
"Hopefully they will be little besties."
Brooke recently revealed how she "cried" when Mexx went off to nursery for their first time.
She wrote on social media: "My little sidekick went to nursery today for his first tester day. He was so brave, he gave me and his daddy a kiss & waved us off goodbye & off he went ... just like that, me on the other hand,I got home and cried into my washing!! Tell me that’s normal!! (sic)"
Brooke has not appeared on 'Corrie' since 2019 when she went on maternity leave with Mexx, but soap bosses have confirmed that she can return to the cobbles when she is ready.
A 'Coronation Street' spokesperson said: "There was never a fixed return date for Brooke, and there is no pressure for her to return within any particular time frame.
"The door has been left open for her at any point in the future, whenever that might be."
