Brittany Carter has been fired from ‘The Apprentice’ in semi-finals double elimination.
The hotel front of house manager - who was hoping Lord Sugar would invest in her alcoholic protein drink business idea – had her dreams of making it to the finals cut short when she was axed from the BBC show.
In tonight’s (17.03.22) episode, which made history as the first ever all-female semi-final, the girls battled it out in the brutal interview stages that saw Brittany’s business idea completely ripped to shreds by Claudine Collins, Linda Plant, Mike Soutar and Claude Littner.
Ultimately it was down to Brittany’s lack of experience that saw her pay the price.
The business mogul, 74, turned to the young entrepreneur, 25, and said: “Your business idea is muscle growth in a can.
“No experience in manufacturing, no experience in business generally and no experience in launching a product in a supermarket.”
Brittany who crumbled under the pressure and cried reflected on her experience.
She told BANG Showbiz and other media outlets: “I wish I hadn’t allowed myself to be so nervous.
“The person I was most nervous to show my business plan to was Claude as he wasn’t shadowing us at the time, so I knew he would be scrutinising the numbers and the data and because he is so close to Lord Sugar you just want to really give the best impression to him.
“I think walking into Claude’s, I was particularly nervous, but all of them are very very intense so you have to make sure you prepare for what’s ahead.
“It’s funny because Linda is obviously renowned and known for being quite brutal, but when I went into her interview she’s almost talking so much at you and criticising you so much that you don’t really have the opportunity to speak back.
“But when you’re in an interview with Mike he will give you very very difficulty questions and then he will stop. You have to answer. That actually made it a lot more intense because he really puts you on the spot.”
“You think that you have thought of every single possible question that they have asked or every single possible critique that could face you, but no, they always find stuff that you are not expecting.”
