Netflix and Shondaland celebrated Bridgerton today (February 14th, 2022) by hosting a global event for super fans of the series, ahead of the premiere of the show's second season, which hits the streaming service on March 25th, 2022.
As part of those celebrations, a new teaser dropped which allowed a small glimpse of what audiences should expect when Lord Anthony Bridgerton's (Jonathan Bailey) quest for love is explored in the upcoming batch of episodes.
Driven by his duty to uphold his family name, the Viscount is looking for a suitable wife that will make his loved ones proud, but his impossible standards are hard to live up to. When he meets Kate (Simone Ashley) and her younger sister Edwinda (Charithra Chandran) - the Sharma sisters who arrive from India - however, things could change.
Unfortunately for him, his courting of Edwina is left in peril when Kate discovers his true intentions, and she sets out to do everything in her power to ensure the union doesn't go ahead. In doing so however, she realises that she may have feelings herself for the Viscount, leaving the situation more complicated than anybody involved could have predicted.
