Brian McFadden claims he has seen Gemma Collins crying from exhaustion in her 'Dancing on Ice' dressing room.
The 38-year-old Westlife singer says he "feels so sorry" for the reality television star - who has been criticised for making "diva" demands and leaving the ITV ice skating competition early - because he has seen her crying in her dressing room from working so hard.
Brian appeared on ITV daytime talk show 'Loose Women' on Friday (18.01.19) and said: "I really love Gemma Collins. The GC is a different story, now she is hard to take.
"The GC is the character she plays when she is a diva and that's probably the one that people give out about. But Gemma is beautiful.
"I feel so sorry for Gemma as well because all the headlines are talking about her diva demands and her leaving early and stuff.
"She's working so hard and people have no idea. She really is. I've been sitting in her dress room when she's been crying just from tiredness from working so hard."
The 37-year-old star has denied previous reports she slept during the rehearsals before last Sunday's (13.01.19) live show, and that she then left 15 minutes early later that night because she was "bored".
The former 'The Only Way Is Essex' star insists she has "evidence" proving such rumours are not true, and she hopes the mystery mole "speaks up and says the truth".
She said: "We sort of know where the rumour has come from, but we're just trying to get the person to admit it and stand up and apologise.
"They definitely didn't see me ... I've got text messages, voice recordings, telephone recordings confirming I wasn't asleep, confirming I never said I was bored."
