Brendan Carroll's sister has died.
The 64-year-old comedy star was alongside his sister Fiona - who has been dubbed Brendan's "second mammy" - when she passed away in Canada in March.
Eilish, Brendan's other sister, told the Irish Mirror newspaper: "I had been out there with her for Christmas but we didn't manage to get out until the day after she died.
"He (Brendan) was there to see her and got her talking and laughing and singing and I knew she was hanging on for him.
"They were very close, she was like a second mammy. Very much so. For her I know it was her wish to see him and she did and that was lovely."
The comedy actor lost his first son, Brendan, when he was just a few days old.
And the 'Mrs. Brown's Boys' star previously opened up about the heartbreak of losing people close to him.
Brendan - who has kids Fiona, 39, Danny, 36, and Eric, 27 - shared: "My mother passing away. Losing my mother. That was really tough. I was very young when my son died.
"That was tough because he was my first child and I, like everybody else, I had all the things figured out in my head - white picket fence, swing in the garden, he'd play football just like his dad did and I'd go to the games with him, blah blah blah.
"And it changed overnight and it leaves a hole. I'm very lucky to have three fantastic kids but they don't fill that gap, not that you'd want them to but they don't."
