Bryan Cranston has hinted that we should "never say never" to more Breaking Bad.
The cult series has become one of the most-loved television shows in history, and in an appearance on American television, CNN host Ashleigh Banfield asked Bryan if Walter had died in the series finale.
His reply was simply: "I don't know."
"You never saw bags zip up or anything, or anybody say... you know."
Then pushed on whether there could be another series of the show, he replied "never say never".
The quote has sparked rumours of a series reignition in the near future, but for now all efforts seem to be placed on show spin-off Better Call Saul.
Saul Goodman - played brilliantly by Bob Odenkirk - is to return for his own series, and both Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul who plays fan favourite Jesse Pinkman have been noted saying they would consider joining the show for a few guest appearances.
Whether that will come to pass - or a new season of Breaking Bad will see the light of day remains to be seen.
Better Call Saul comes to AMC and Netflix this November.
