Jo Brand has played down speculation she could replace Sandi Toksvig on 'The Great British Bake Off'.
The 62-year-old comedienne - who co-hosts 'Bake Off' spin-off 'Extra Slice' - has been linked to the vacant hosting spot after Sandi quit the programme earlier this month, but it doesn't look like Jo will be making the move to the main show.
She said: "Sorry to disappoint you."
Jo enjoys having more "freedom to muck about" on the spin-off show, and working alongside Tom Allen.
Speaking on BBC Radio 2, she added: "I actually really love doing 'Extra Slice', and I think there's a lot more freedom to muck about, there's so many different elements to the show.
"There's a lovely team of people, I love working with Tom Allen."
But she joked Tom "better not get that job" on the main show.
It comes after Sandi announced she had quit 'The Great British Bake Off' two weeks ago, after three years on the show.
The 61-year-old TV presenter said in a statement: "When stepping down from a job it is quite common for people to say they are doing so in order to spend more time with their family.
"Unusually I am departing from 'The Great British Bake Off' so I can spend more time with my other work.
"As my waistline will testify, 'Bake Off' is an all-consuming show."
Sandi admitted it has been one of the "great pleasures of [her] life" spending time with her co-host Noel Fielding, and judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith.
She added: "Spending time with Prue, Paul and Noel has been one of the great pleasures of my life.
"These are friendships which I know will continue beyond the confines of television.
"'Bake Off' is a wonderful programme which has already proved it can happily withstand a change of hosting personnel.
"The reason for that, of course, is that the true stars of the show are the bakers themselves. I wish everyone well."
