The 'Emmerdale' star has hinted that Vinny could extend an olive brand to his villainous father, despite his violent past.

He said: "By next week, they all wish that Paul had never come back. Vinny has to keep a lot of lies to himself and betray his mum, which is getting too much.

"All Vinny wants is to have a happy life, a happy mum, and a dad who doesn't beat him up and isn't gambling. He's happy with Liv and just wants to be happy, but something obstructs that."

Vinny thinks that Paul may change his ways after he's forced to spend time in hospital. But according to Bradley, there is "a lot to come in 2021".

The actor told Digital Spy: "It's mixed emotions when Vinny sees Paul. He sees him lying there and a part of him thinks: 'Maybe this is the wake-up call he needed, he'll get better for his family and stop gambling'.

"I don't think it's the end of Paul's angry demeanour. There is a lot to come in 2021."

Last year, Bradley claimed Vinny lost all trust in his dad after an argument between the pair turned violent.

He said at the time: "Vinny's trust for Paul has just gone. If he's going to forgive his dad, it's going to take a very long time for Paul to gain any sort of trust from Vinny again.

"All I can say is that this is the start of a long storyline and in traditional soap fashion, it's not the last you're going to hear of Paul and Vinny's situation. You'll have to wait and see whether it's going to get worse or better, but there's lots more to come."
