Bonnie Langford "wouldn't mind" returning to 'Dancing on Ice' - but only as a judge.
The 'EastEnders' actress took part in the skating show in 2006 and then again in 2009, and has admitted she'd jump at the chance to join the series when its revamped next year following three years off air but only if they allow her on the panel this time around.
Speaking to The Sun Online, the 52-year-old star said: "I wouldn't mind judging it because I know what they've been through and I would be very very sympathetic and empathetic. I'd be able to go, 'I feel your pain, take some Arnica.' "
However, it looks like bosses have already chosen their judges as it's believed Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean - who used to be coaches during the original format - will be sitting on the panel next year so they can rate celebrities and their partners.
A source said previously: "Torvill and Dean loved their years spent teaching celebrities how to skate but they want to change things up for the new series. Now they are in talks to become judges, where they will finally get to have a proper say on what they think about the celebrities taking part. In the original format they were there to help them along the way, but this will mean they can use their gold medal winning expertise to decide who continues in the competition. If anyone is qualified to be a judge, it's them, and it would be a great way to shake up the format and give it a new lease of life."
'Dancing On Ice' was pulled off air three years ago following a flop in ratings, but fans jumped for joy earlier this year when it was confirmed it would be making a comeback at the beginning of 2018.
Olympian Jayne later teased that the show will have a "refreshed" look when it returns.
She said: "I love that it's coming back, it's great news - I'm really looking forward to it.
"The show will definitely be refreshed but the basics will be the same, we will still be teaching celebrities how to skate.
"It was a different sort of platform being in the studio - we like to be creative and come up with new things. There's a new bar to set when the show returns."
