'Your Face Sounds Familiar' stars Bobby Davro and Matt Johnson are nervous about cross-dressing on the show.

The 54-year-old comedian and 'This Morning' presenter are anxious about having to wax their body hair for the new ITV Saturday night entertainment show - which sees six celebrities dress up as pop stars for charity - and are concerned about squeezing their masculine frames into revealing outfits.

Speaking to BANG Showbiz, Bobby said: "I don't like it. I don't like putting the tights on. I'm not prepared to shave my armpits or my leg hair or any other part of my masculine hairy body."

Each week, the celebrities will perform as a musical icon - ranging from Michael Jackson to Beyonce - in a bid to impress a star-studded panel of judges including Emma Bunton, Julian Clary and a weekly guest judge.

However, in a unique twist, the celebrities will have no influence over which star they impersonate - relying on a computer randomiser to select their artist, who could be younger, older, or even of the opposite sex.

Matt joked: "I'm really worried about the cross dressing thing because it's not a usual Wednesday night for me, it's a Saturday.

"I'm quite concerned, but the most fun I have when I do karaoke when I'm back home is when you do the girl songs, when you do all the songs that you're not really used it. It's quite hard to sing Katy Perry. 'Firework' is a difficult song to sing."

'Your Face Sounds Familiar' kicks off on ITV on Saturday June 29 at 7.30pm.
