Bobby Brazier has hinted he won't stay at 'EastEnders' for much longer.
The 20-year-old actor - who joined the soap as Freddie Slater last year - plans to return to Albert Square once his stint on 'Strictly Come Dancing' comes to an end but he is unsure how long for and admitted he's already thinking about his next career move.
In an interview with the Daily Mirror newspaper, he said: "I think my next big step is a small role in something with a good director.
"I want to master my craft."
Bobby - whose mother is the late Jade Goody - has grown up with a positive attitude and strong self-belief thanks to his dad Jeff Brazier's motto, 'Because I can.'
He said: "Growing up, I remember hearing him say that a lot.
"It was just something that he'd say outright and as a result, I think I've grown into someone who thinks they can do quite a lot of things. It's not a bad mindset to be in."
But despite being firm favourites with viewers, modest Bobby refused to saw if he thinks he and 'Strictly' partner Dianne Buswell can win.
Asked if they can, he said: "Well, I've seen the support we both get in the studio, on social media, everywhere.
"Our place in the show is determined very much by these people and I'm seeing so much of it that I can't help but feel that they'll take us further."
Bobby's only regret is that the 'Strictly' experience doesn't last longer.
He said: "I wanted to learn how to dance.
"The other day, for the first time, I had to remind myself that actually, this isn't going to last forever.
"But actually, it's just a short three months, if I'm lucky."
