Bobby Ball was remembered last night (30.12.20), as he posthumously appeared in the 'Not Going Out' Christmas special.
The festive episode was dedicated to the late actor - who played Frank in the BBC sitcom - following his death in October aged 76, after he tested positive for coronavirus.
As the show came to an end a picture of Bobby appeared and a message read: "In memory of our friend Bobby Ball (1944-2020)"
Several took to social media to share the image, including actor Les Dennis, who paid tribute to the late star.
He wrote: "Bobby Ball was wonderful in Not Going Out tonight. I did a Would I Lie To You just before he passed. Lee Mack spoke with such affection for him. Miss your huge warmth and talent. #rockontommy (sic)"
A number of fans were also left in tears at seeing Bobby on screen again, and several praised his performance in the festive episode.

Another posted: "Sad seeing Bobby Ball knowing he’s just passed away but great seeing him putting a smile on our faces as always in ‘Not Going Out’. RIP BB (sic)"
One shared: "Not going out , great to see Bobby ball , sadly missed funniest man ever (sic)"
Bobby also filmed episodes of the new 'Not Going Out' series, which will start next week.
Following Bobby's passing, his manager said in a statement: "It is with great personal sadness that on behalf of Yvonne Ball, and the family, and Tommy Cannon, I announce that Bobby Ball passed away at Blackpool Victoria Hospital on the 28th October 2020 approximately 21:30.
"Bobby had been taken to the hospital for tests as he started with breathing problems.
"At first it was thought to be a chest infection, but a test proved positive for Covid-19."
