Lisa Dwan is pregnant.
The 'Bloodlands' actress - who portrays Dr Tori Matthews in the BBC One drama - took to Instagram to confirm she is expecting, as she shared a number of books about pregnancy she is reading.
She wrote: "Just doing a little light reading.... (sic)"
Some of the books include 'What to Expect when You're Expecting', 'The Day-By-Day Pregnancy Book', and a book about baby names.
The 43-year-old star - who portrayed Lizzie in 'Top Boy' - has also purchased some books to read to her little one when he or she arrives.
They include 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' and Beatrix Potter's 'Peter Rabbit My First Little Library'.
Last month, Lisa revealed she fell in love at the beginning of lockdown.
She said: "The gods were smiling on me at the beginning of lockdown - I met a very special person and fell in love.
"I’ve been in a wonderful love bubble … I’ve been making copious amounts of soda bread (recipe on demand)!
"I get out early for my daily constitutional on Hampstead Heath when the parakeets are at their liveliest.
"I’m a big entertainer and like to invite people round for a big Irish stew.
"I miss that and seeing, hugging and holding my friends. And I miss live theatre greatly ..."
The star - who was born in Ireland - also admitted she was "badly bullied" during her younger years.
She added to the Observer newspaper: "I was badly bullied before I left Ireland. I was an odd kid, in a country school, wanting to become an actress.
"It made me lonely - and I’m so damned grateful for that."
