ITV will celebrate 20 years of the Black Eyed Peas with a special documentary.

The 'Where is the Love' hitmakers - willi.am, apl.de.ap and Taboo - will perform on the programme alongside some special guests, while friends, family and famous faces will share their insight and memories of the group on the show, which will be hosted by their friend Joanna Lumley.

The documentary will start with the trio's childhoods and see them visit their old Los Angeles neighbourhoods, the Whisky A Go Go club on the Sunset Strip, where they were discovered, and a recording studio where they recorded some of their biggest hits.

apl.de.ap said: "It's very special to be celebrating this landmark moment in the Black Eyed Peas story. There's nothing better than performing with my best friends on stage. We're looking forward to everyone joining us for this party, and we know our UK fans know how to party."

Taboo added: "20 years of Black Eyed Peas and so much more. will.i.am and apl.de.ap are my brothers. We have incredible memories to be treasured and we're excited for everything to come with the 'Masters of the Sun' European tour."

And 'Voice' coach will is delighted that he'll get to perform with his bandmates at his "home" in the UK.

He said: "I have my family, my Black Eyed Peas family and my 'Voice UK' family. I've always felt at home in the UK and, as a group, we continue to feel Big Love from our fans over here. We are excited to be sharing the backstory of our journey to success with you all."

Meanwhile, 'Absolutely Fabulous' star Joanna is "very excited" to be hosting the programme.

She said: "I'm both a friend to and a big fan of The Black Eyed Peas. It's very exciting to be part of this and I'm looking forward to it enormously."

And ITV are delighted to be honouring one of their favourite stars.
