Billie Piper has joined the cast of drama 'Foxtrot'.
The 'Doctor Who' actress will star alongside Ben Whishaw and Lindsay Duncan in Sky Arts' 'Playhouse Presents' play, which tells the story of a gang heist gone wrong and is written by playwright Polly Stenham.
As well as Billie - who is married to Laurence Fox - 'Mrs Biggs' star Daniel Mays and Top Boy's Ashley Walters will star in another Sky 'Playhouse' project, 'Nightshift', in which the pair will portray two policeman working overnight in south east London.
Jed Mercurio, who created 'Line of Duty', is putting together a new medical drama for Sky1 entitled 'Critical', which will focus on the 'golden hour', the time straight after a serious injury has occurred when treatment can be administered.
The show has been commissioned for 13 episodes and will unfold in real time.
Stuart Murphy, Sky's director of entertainment, said: "We're so happy with these dramas. I hope they show we put a premium on creative endeavour at Sky and our philosophy of backing world class creative talent and pushing them to make their best work is the way to go."
