Bill Roache has claimed a yellow-eyed ghost watches him while he's on the toilet.
The 'Coronation Street' actor - who is known for playing Ken Barlow in the long-running soap - believes he can connect with the afterlife and is convinced he saw his first eerie figure staring at him from the doorway while he was relieving himself on the loo.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I saw my first apparition when I was sitting on the loo. I saw a gritty, grey shape in the doorway with piercing yellow eyes."
Since then, the 85-year-old star has been using psychics and mediums to connect with his daughter Edwina, who died when she was 18 months old from bronchial pneumonia, and his wife Sara Mottram, who passed away from a heart condition.
One psychic told him that Edwina is working as a nurse in the afterlife, while Sara is having a "wonderful time" in the "spiritual realm" because it's just as "real as here."
He added: "There are schools, hospitals, you name it."
A pet psychic once told him that his Jack Russell Poppy does an impression of Deidre Barlow, his on-screen wife who was played by the late Anne Kirkbride, at him.
He explained: "The animal psychic told me my dog Poppy did an impersonation of Deirdre saying: 'Oh Ken,' in a drawn-out, exasperated way.
"I wasn't aware she'd ever watched me on the show."
But Bill's beliefs aren't just limited to spirits as he's convinced it won't be long before people will be able to communicate with aliens - but the "time has to be right."
He said: "When the time is right it will be possible to communicate with those beings."
