Atomic Kitten
The stars of ITV2's 'The Big Reunion' have recorded a Christmas single for charity.
Pop sensations Liberty X, Atomic Kitten, B*Witched, Blue and Five joined up with Honeyz and 911 to cover Wizzard's 1973 classic hit 'I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday' - but they've been arguing over who gets to sing the final line of the song.
Blue's Lee Ryan, Atomic Kitten beauty Natasha Hamilton and members of Five all recorded versions of the final line, "Why don't you give your love for Christmas?", but the show's producers are yet to decide who did the best job and the bands have been bickering about who will be chosen to close the song.
Scott Robinson from Five exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "Nobody knows who has the last line, I have recorded it and so has Ritchie, Lee Ryan did about 28 trills on it."
Despite some going over the top and adding quavering vocal effects, Scott reckons Natasha will be the chosen one.
He said: "She did really well. I'd like to get it but I'd gladly see it go to someone who did a better job than me.
"There's going to be a big reveal for the solo line, if someone gets it who doesn't deserve it, we're going to kick right off."
Natasha was more relaxed about it and said: "I was just honoured to be asked to have a go.
"Who knows what the producers want. I got to sing with the girls, which was more important to me."
But Kerry Katona butted in: "What a load of bulls**t, we've got our money on Tash, she so wants the last line."
The single will be released on December 15 via Universal Music, with all profits going to ITV's Text Santa charity appeal, created by ITV.
The bands, who reformed for the TV show, will battle 'The X Factor' winner for the Christmas number one. The song will raise money for Age UK, Barnardo's, BeatBullying, British Heart Foundation, CLIC Sargent and Help the Hospices.
