OutKast rapper Big Boi has signed a £300,000 deal to star on this year's 'Celebrity Big Brother'.
The 38-year-old star - whose real name is Antwan André Patton - will be one of the highest paid housemates in the upcoming series, following in the footsteps of previous US contestants including Tara Reid, Coolio, Verne Troyer and Dennis Rodman.
An insider told The Sun newspaper: "Producers always like to mix things up with an American star and they hope Big Boi will do the business this year."
Big Boi - who is known for being in hip hop duo OutKast, who became famous with huge hits including 'Hey Ya!', alongside pal Andre 3000 - will be joined in the house by Abs Love, who recently starred in ITV2 show 'The Big Reunion' with his band Five.
Former football manager Ron Atkinson, Geordie Shore's Charlotte Crosby, 'Loose Women' panellist Carol McGiffin and brunette model Sophie Anderton have also reportedly signed up for the programme.
Atkinson - who is nicknamed Big Ron and once managed Premier League heavyweights Aston Villa - and loud-mouthed Charlotte are thought to be earning fees approaching six figures.
A Channel 5 spokesman said the broadcaster would not comment on contestants prior to the show's launch.
