Beverley Knight has signed up for the 'Stars In Their Eyes' reboot.
The 48-year-old singer is said to have joined the show - which has been renamed 'Starstruck' - after weeks of negotiations, and she'll soon sit on the programme's panel alongside Sheridan Smith and Adam Lambert.
A source told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre TV column: "Beverley is a huge signing for 'Starstruck' and everyone working on the show is so glad she’s taking part.
"There were a number of big music names on ITV’s wish list, including Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall, but after approaching Beverley they snapped her up after seeing her enthusiasm for the concept.
"She is not only a big-name singer but she’s a musical performer and has been in a number of big West End shows including 'The Bodyguard', 'Cats' and 'Memphis'.
"Her experience makes her ideal for judging members of the public who are transforming into their favourite stars."
The show's new format will see four teams of three battle it out to win the judges’ votes, with each of the teams impersonating their musical icon.
Then, the members of the winning team will compete against each other for a place in the final.
Adam, 39, is already looking forward to appearing on the judging panel.
The singer - who rose to fame on 'American Idol' in 2009 and is perhaps best known for working with Queen - is eager to help some "wannabe singers".
A TV insider explained in December: "Adam was delighted to be asked to join 'Starstruck' and he snapped up the offer.
"As part of Queen his job is not to replace Freddie [Mercury] but to emulate his brilliance on stage, which he has done to huge success. And now he’ll be helping wannabe singers to do the same with their idols."
