Beverley Callard has admitted her phobia of insects is "a million times worse" after taking part in 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!'.
The 'Coronation Street' star - who was voted out of the castle alongside Victoria Derbyshire on Monday night's episode (30.11.20) - was told the ITV reality show might "cure" her phobia of creepy crawlies, but the show has had the opposite effect.
Appearing on ITV's 'Lorraine', she told presenter Lorraine Kelly: "Well, I have to tell you - it was so weird.
"Somebody said to me, 'You know what? This will cure your phobia of insects and bugs and everything else.'
"Lorraine, it's a million times worse. It's a million times worse, truly."
The 63-year-old actress admitted she also wanted the ground to swallow her up when hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly showed her clips of her calling her husband John a "megas***", which she thought would be edited out of the broadcast.
She laughed: "I can't believe they aired that because I just thought, well, 'They're quite bad words so they'll just edit that.'
"When Ant and Dec played the clips for me last night I wanted to die. I wanted to die."
Victoria - who was appearing alongside Beverley for the interview - revealed the two former campmates will "definitely" be lifelong friends after getting to know each other in the castle.
Heaping praise on the former Liz McDonald actress as they were asked about their friendship, she added: "Oh my gosh, honestly Lorraine - 100 per cent, seriously.
"Beverley, obviously I've watched her for years - she is an acting icon in one of those fantastic female roles in 'Corrie'.
"She is warm, she is funny, she is loving, she is kind. A legend, and definitely friends for life."
