The 'Sherlock' cast have been banned from revealing details about the third series.
Andrew Scott - who plays arch-enemy Jim Moriarty in the hit drama - claims producers are taking extra precautions to ensure the upcoming storyline is kept under wraps after the last series was left on a cliff-hanger when Sherlock Holmes (Benedict Cumberbatch) supposedly plunged to his death.
Speaking to the Sunday Mirror, Andrew said: "If I told you what happens they would kill me. I never guessed how the last episode would end. It even surprised me.
"It has been fantastic filming the new series but we have all been banned from telling our families or friends what is in the scripts. We are not allowed to speak to anyone."
The 36-year-old actor insists nobody predicted the success of the BAFTA-winning drama, which first aired in 2010, but is adamant the show will continue for at least two more decades because the cast were so young when they started out.
He said: "I don't think everyone thought it would be so successful. I can see it still on TV in 20 years as we all started working on it very young."
The third series of 'Sherlock' is set to air in October.
