Ben Hanlin will compete in the upcoming series of 'Dancing On Ice'.
The magician has become the 10th celebrity to sign up for the ITV ice-skating show and revealed he is hoping to bring some magic to the ice.
Speaking on BBC Radio London on Sunday (29.09.19), he said: "Can I ice skate? Barely. But I did say to the producers, 'If I'm going to do this, can I try to do magic on ice?'
"I will try and attempt to put magic into the show if I can. We start tomorrow! On the ice for the very first time."
The 33-year-old magician and presenter is known for presenting the ITV2 series 'Tricked' from 2013 to 2016.
After the announcement was made, he wrote on Twitter: "The cat's out of the bag!...or should I say SKATE!! MASSIVE ANNOUNCEMENT: I'm going to be taking part in the next series of @dancingonice and I can't WAIT! Let's do this! #TeamBen #DancingOnIce (sic)."
He joins previously announced contestants Michael Barrymore, Maura Higgins, Kevin Kilbane, Lucrezia Millarini, Ian 'H' Watkins, Lisa George, Perri Kiely, Libby Clegg MBE and Joe Swash, on the show.
Holly Willoughby and Phil will return to host the show but the judging panel has had a shake-up.
The twelfth series of 'Dancing On Ice' will see John Barrowman take over as a judge with Jason Gardiner leaving the programme. He joins Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean and Ashley Banjo on the panel.
'Dancing On Ice' returns to ITV in 2020.
