Emmy-nominated reality series Below Deck has taken the world by storm, entertaining millions during the pandemic lockdown and now, branching out for yet another spinoff set in Australia.
Set against the stunning backdrop of the tropical Whitsunday Islands and world-famous Great Barrier Reef in North-Eastern Australia, get ready to go Down Under on the M/Y Thalassa.
Below Deck Down Under will see the franchise's youngest Captain, Jason Chambers front a crew of mostly new faces; but there is a familiar fan-favourite making their return, stepping into the role of Chief Stew for the first time - Aesha Scott.
She's joined by Chef Ryan McKeown and Bosun Jamie Sayed, alongside Stews Tumi Mhlongo and Magda Ziomek, as well as Deckhands Culver Bradbury, Brittini Burton and Ben Crawley.
Not just easy on the eye, this youthful and charming new captain has a hands-on approach, doing whatever it takes to ensure his yacht guests have an unforgettable vacation. That means pulling out all the stops, offering underwater excursions like scuba diving, snorkelling and, close encounters with marine life.
New Zealand's own Aesha is bringing her bubbly and gregarious personality back to Below Deck audiences, but will her fun-loving nature be a match for the Chief Stew role? The trailer shows she's not going to let her Stews walk all over her, but will she be able to get over the roadblock of realising she can't please everybody?
Chef Ryan grew up in Philadelphia surrounded by the hospitality industry, gaining a passion for food from as early as he can remember. He's no stranger to high-profile clientele, but his persistence for big ideas and spectacular service leads to some strained relationships with the rest of the crew.
Then there's first-time Bosun Jamie, who values order and hierarchy. Utterly genuine and extremely charismatic, he loves his job and has an eye for the ladies on board. Open for romance, the only thing that will get his back up is when others don't take safety seriously.
Stewardess Tumi from South Africa is the life of the party, with a long resume in hospitality. Single and ready to flirt, she's up for finding a potential husband wherever she goes. With Polish model and fellow Stewardess Magda by her side, will the two be fighting for attention?
Michigan-born Deckhand Brittini turns up to the Thalassa yacht eager to learn, having started her career on the interior team before realising she prefers working outdoors. She's happy to tell it like it is, sticking up for her fellow females against the often over-inflated egos of the men on board.
Australian Deckhand Ben is on a spiritual journey of self-discovery, after losing both of his parents. He has a quiet and collected side, but loves bantering with yacht guests whilst dealing with big egos behind-the-scenes. He's joined by fellow Deckhand Culver, who has yacht experience and understands the importance of communication. He declares himself as the 'Entertainment Officer'; will he prove his worth?
Below Deck Down Under is available to stream exclusively on Hayu in the UK, from March 18th, 2022.
