The BBC are planning a "best of" series of 'The Apprentice'.

Last year's winner Mark Wright claims the network are keen to get all of the previous victors from the business series back in the boardroom for the ultimate showdown.

He said: "I shouldn't say this, but there is talk of all of the winners going back and having a best Apprentice of all the people that have won, because there's now going to be 11 there [after this series].

"So you've almost got a full complement of people who have won the show over the past 11 years that could make another series and you'd have all of these people from all walks of life and skill sets.

"We joke amongst us - obviously I tell them that I would win easily. It would be interesting to see that, I think."

Even if the show doesn't happen, the Climb Online entrepreneur is keen to return to the programme in some capacity.

He added to DigitalSpy: "But I would love to go back in some capacity, whether that's as an assistant to Lord Sugar or as an interviewer like Ricky [Martin] or to use my business on a task, to come in and do something creative."

It is unclear whether all of the former contestants would be on board with returning to the show, especially as some of them, such as series six winner Stella English - who sued for wrongful dismissal - have strained relationships with Lord Alan Sugar.
