BBC iPlayer is set to expand its selection of classic 'EastEnders' episodes.
The broadcaster has helped to keep soap fans entertained amid the coronavirus lockdown by airing old episodes of the soap, and it's now been announced that extra episodes will be available to stream on the iPlayer from June 22.
'EastEnders' fans will be able to stream four classic episodes per week, allowing them to relive some memorable storylines from the soap back in 2008.
The episodes will, for instance, feature the arrival of Whitney Dean and the Jackson family in Albert Square.
The BBC is also planning to launch a new show called 'EastEnders: Secrets From The Square'.
The upcoming spin-off series sees Stacey Dooley discuss behind-the-scenes secrets with two characters, starting with Kellie Bright and her on-screen husband Danny Dyer, who play Linda and Mick Carter.
Asked what fans can expect to see from the show, Kellie recently said: "Things I don't want people to know that I just blurted out!
"They will enjoy seeing the characters, seeing the actors behind the characters, seeing our relationships, and what it's like interacting with us, you'll feel like you're there sat down having a chat."
Stacey will take over Ian Beale's Walford East restaurant each week - starting from June 22 - with two different cast members reflecting on their time on the show, teasing what's to come, and providing a sneak-peak behind the scenes.
She said: "I'm delighted to be hosting 'Secrets From The Square'.
"I grew up watching 'EastEnders', so walking onto Albert Square was a surreal experience as well as taking a trip down memory lane and interviewing some of the legends of Walford has been great. I've loved every minute of it!"
