'The Wall Versus Celebrities' is coming to BBC One later this year for three specials.
The upcoming episodes will each feature a different pairing - Stacey Dooley and Craig Revel Horwood, Chris Kamara and John Barnes, and Alex Brooker and Sally Lindsay - as they take on the ultimate challenge of strategy, knowledge and luck.
'EastEnders' actor Danny Dyer will once again be back as host, with TV star Angela Rippon lending her voice.
Jo Wallace - Acting Controller of Entertainment Commissioning at the BBC - said: “'The Wall' is without doubt the biggest opponent anyone can face on TV and it will be a lot of fun seeing if these six famous faces can rise to the challenge in these three special episodes.”
Richard Hague - Creative Director at production company Remarkable Television - added: “'The Wall' is ready and waiting for these famous faces to come and have a go.”
As well as the celebrity specials, the Beeb has also confirmed upcoming episodes for 2021 as more willing couples - including twins from Yorkshire, sisters from Scotland and a married couple from Wales - step up to face 'The Wall'.
Meanwhile, 43-year-old host Danny - who began hosting the game show in 2019 - recently admitted his daughter Dani, 24, talked him into fronting the programme after he initially expressed his reluctance.
He explained: "You know, 'The Wall', the game show that I did, she did tell me to do it because I really didn’t want to do it.
"I was umming and ahhing and she watched it said that this could be the best thing you've ever done. I didn't quite know how to take that really? Well! So I took her advice on that."
