Ed Balls is finding 'Strictly Come Dancing' "traumatic."
The former politician has only endured three days of training for the Ballroom and Latin show so far but he's already feeling disturbed by the hip-snaking moves his professional partner Katya Jones has put together for their first dance.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, he said: "It's a bit traumatic. We start training tomorrow. We're working on our moves. We've got three weeks to go."
The 49-year-old star is hoping he and Katya can stay in the competition until they move to Blackpool for a week to perform in the seaside resort's iconic Tower Ballroom.
He explained: "We're aiming for Blackpool. If we get there, we're going up the Eye and we'll have some chips."
However, Ed already feels like a winner as he gets to perform for the legend Len Goodman before he quits the programme following 12 years as the head judge.
He said: "I think it's a massive honour to be on the show for Len's last year. It will be good to hear his criticism."
Meanwhile, Ed may still have his first dance to go but Jay McGuiness - who won the last series - thinks he could win.
Speaking on 'Loose Women' on Thursday (08.09.16), he said: "I think if people fall in love with his personality and he goes out and has fun then that's what people want. I've spoken to the dancers and they've said the girls this year are good and the boys are definitely better than our year."
