Babatunde Aleshe is no longer in touch with Matt Hancock following their appearance on 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!'
The 37-year-old comedian took part in the 2022 series of the hit ITV1 reality show alongside former MP Matt - who served as the UK's health minister during the COVID-19 pandemic - as well as a host of others like pop icon Boy George, 'Coronation Street' legend Sue Cleaver and eventual winner Jill Scott but admitted that Matt is not even a part of the WhatsApp group chat.
He told Metro newspaper's Sixty Seconds column: "It taught me that I'm braver than I thought I was. Because even though I was scared of
everything, the fact that I agreed to take part in the first place let me know - hey mate, you are
quite ballsy!
"You will take on a challenge even if you end up looking like more of a wimp.
"I'm in touch with everybody apart from Matt Hancock. But, to be fair, he's not part of the WhatsApp group."
The 'Celebrity Gogglebox' star insisted that he "doesn't hate" Matt, 45, and even though thing were "difficult" to begin with in the camp, he learned how to "work" with others.
He said: "Look, I don't hate the guy. It was difficult at the beginning to be in there with someone who was like hated throughout the whole nation. But we made it work because when you're in there, there's a lesson to be learned in kind of putting differences aside and learning how to work together with people."
