Ayda Field has ignored her 'X Factor' critics.
The 39-year-old star appears alongside her husband Robbie Williams, One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson and music mogul Simon Cowell on the judging panel, but her appointment was met with some backlash over a comparative lack of experience in the industry.
Speaking to ITV's 'Loose Women', she said: "We don't like the critical words! You know, I don't leave too much room for it, I just don't let it in.
"There's always people who have criticisms, or naysayers, and that's ok - there's a place in the universe for that, but there doesn't have to be a place in my life for it.
"I don't have any ill will towards people who questions why I'm on this show or has negative comments. That's their right, that's their duty, that's their space. I really am in the most cliche, hippy dippy way, I'm all about the love and the light and the joy."
Despite her critics, Ayda has settled into her role brilliantly and has found it such an amazing experience getting to work with her husband.
However, she has struggled with some parts of the job, and there were reports last month that she had broken down when it came to the panel telling contestants it was the end of their journey.
Ayda will have to do it again at Judge's Houses, and she admitted: "I'm not looking forward to the day where I have to look someone in the eye and say it's a no.
"The beauty of saying it's a yes is you're opening up a whole dream adventure for someone, and the flip side is having to say no and crush someone in the moment."
